The house:- A
beautiful stone house not overlooked at the edge of a village near Ansião. The house has 279,25m2 (including annexes) and
consists of two floors. The ground floor has 4 divisions that have been used for storage. The first floor has 10 divisions,
including 2 kitchens, 1 bathroom, 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 halls and a storage room. The house has a partially renovated
roof but inside although having massive oak beams, most of the floorboards will need replacing; some of the windows and doors
will need renovation. The house has electric and water as well as a septic tank connected. The annexes can be converted to
living accommodation but will need more work.
The land:- The
land has 1480m2 and it’s located at the back of the house which creates a private environment. It is walled with dry
stone walls and it includes a water tank (stone made) and a threshing circle. Fruit trees and olives can be found on the land
as well as some oaks. The land is flat and it is ideal for installing a swimming pool. Access to the land is easy.
The area:- Although
located in a rural village the property is not far away from Ansião (10 minutes) where everything can be found, from several
shops to an health centre, gymnasium, cinema (the majority of the movies in English with Portuguese subtitles), Town Hall,
etc. The coast is only 45 minutes away and the same distance to Coimbra. Pombal, with motorway junction and train station,
is only 20 minutes of distance. The Peaceful village has almost inexistent traffic,
and not far a lot of tracks trough the mountains can be found, ideal for walking and enjoying the panoramic views of
the region.
